Trump faces prospect of congressional vote on releasing Epstein files

Trump faces prospect of congressional vote on releasing Epstein files And please accept my edit to your tweet this morning about this program and how it all started here. But it has really been a drama for the viewers of this program
that you saw from the night you stood up on this program and said you were going to act on what you had learned about the possibility of issuing a subpoena to the Epstein estate.
News, you and your team really didn't get the credit. But none of those emails would have come out, Jeffrey Epstein's emails that said Donald Trump was involved,
Donald Trump likely knew about this abuse, none of that would have come out, if I hadn't been on your program, if your team had told Bradley Edwards why Bradley Edwards would have told Edwards.
The Justice Department, why isn't the FBI subpoenaing Epstein's estate? It was shocking to me. They didn't. And then Bradley Edwards said,
Look, if you present this estate, I'm sure they'll comply. And your team connected Bradley Edwards with our team.

And that's why we have these emails today. And that's why there's going to be a lot more emails coming out. So they've done an incredible public service.
So it's been a very dramatic day with this meeting at the White House that came out after the Lauren Boebert incident, where they were obviously trying to get at least one signature,

Your name could not be removed. Not today. And we're here tonight. Well, I'm not sure if the White House knew that.
Thomas Macy and I had been texting back and forth all day. I mean, we've been this way for five months, we were worried. I mean, we brought him, as you mentioned,
into the situation room where they're planning like they're doing the press here at the Roberts. They did the same thing with Nancy Macy to get off, but they caught him.
And you know what? The dam is breaking, Lawrence. I appreciated your analogy to Nixon because one of the things we saw with the fall of Nixon was that Republicans started to abandon him.
And you're going to have a situation where Macy and my bill comes to the floor next week, which the speaker is saying it will. You're going to vote for Republicans even more.
This is a big deal, not because of the work Macy and I are doing, but because people are sensing the weakness of Donald Trump that they're willing to vote against him.
When we read things like Jeffrey, you know, Jeffrey Epstein, that Donald Trump is the dog that doesn't bark. We can all apply our own thinking to what young people can do.
To really understand what that means, especially since it's an email to Ghislaine Maxwell, who is a living witness, who can tell us what that email means because her response to Epstein is so clear,
She said, I was thinking about that. So she knows exactly what it means, I need to rethink the Maxwell interview. Not too much.
But we also know that there are other emails. There are more emails than just Donald Trump and we need to look at them. And really look at two things.
I mean, there's a question of what happened to the underage girls, but there's also a question of how many people, including Donald Trump, knew about the abuse? And did they sit with me and do nothing,
which was done to me on an equal footing and use it? I mean, what if you know someone is raping junior high girls just to sit down and still be friends with them?
And this whole thing is going to come out, Donald Trump and what I call the Epstein class, both of them, should have their day of accountability. What do you want to see next week? Is it just a vote,
Another week, there will be a vote on the elevation petition? On the discharge petition. Of course, numbers matter, Lawrence. You're more of an expert on the Senate than I am. But the bigger the numbers in the House,
the more likely it is that this will be brought up in the Senate. And I would like it to be brought up in the Senate because it would obviously send a message to the people of this country as well.
Trump. There will be more investigation. We expect more documents to be released. And then we're going to have a press conference on Tuesday, with Monjor Taylor Greene, Thomas Massey and I, Bradley Edwards and the survivors and they're taking some of the survivors
who haven't told their stories before. And they're going to talk about what they really want and want to see in terms of justice. Khanna, thank you so much for joining us again tonight on this important story.
